ROSEBURG—Fans of Hawaiian music are in for a rare treat in southern Oregon this summer. The First Annual Umpqua Hula and the Arts Multicultural Festival features not one, but four highly acclaimed musical groups from Hawai’i. The two-day event takes place August 21-22, 2010 in the beautiful, grassy Swanson Amphitheatre on the campus of Umpqua Community College.

Tickets are $15 for one day and $25 for a weekend pass. Children 12 and under are free. Concerts are lawn seating. Blankets and chairs welcome.
