Walterville Community Fair September 11th, 9 AM to 7 PM The Walterville Grange will celebrate 60 years of The Walterville Community Fair on September 11th.

The Theme for this year’s Fair is: “Honor your Neighbor; the Everyday Hero.” This will be a great time for the community to get together with friends and neighbors to celebrate and commemorate all our heroes at what is planned to be Lane County’s biggest little Fair.

In addition to the other organizations and agencies that get support from the Grange, $200 of the proceeds will be donated to the McKenzie Life Jacket Loan Program to be used to replace the life jackets that are lost or worn out. The Grange is challenging the community to match this donation so that more of the life jackets can be made available to boaters and rafters. So, come and enjoy a day of fun and festivities at the George Millican Community Center, 39259 Camp Creek Road.

The event is open to everyone who likes to share their talents with their neighbors and friends. All area residents are welcome to enter their produce, baking, sewing, arts and crafts. Fair entries will be accepted from 8 to 9:30 AM.
