Free H1N1 Clinic in Corvallis
12/14/09
By Sharece Bunn

The Benton County Health Department and Corvallis School District have joined forces to offer a free H1N1 flu clinic.

The flu clinic is set for Cheldelin Middle School in Corvallis at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, December 15.  All Benton County residents over age 10 are welcome to be vaccinated.

Rick Osborn is the Benton County Public Information Officer.

It’s really important to go and get vaccinated because even though the cases of h1n1 have kind of dwindled a little bit here lately, you know, flu season is going to continue until march and it’s a good idea to be prepared so that we can lessen the impact of this virus as much as we can.”

The vaccine became available to everyone Friday, December 11, when Oregon public health officials announced they were opening the vaccination to more than the priority groups.
