OAPBA Awards

 KLCC AWARDS FROM OAPBA  
Oregon Associated Press Broadcast Association
2010 

KLCC 89.7 FM in Eugene won 22 Awards from OAPBA for work produced in 2010.  OAPBA judges KLCC in the Division 2, Non-Portland Metro Markets category in their statewide competition.  

The KLCC News Department consists News Director Tripp Sommer and a small crew of host reporters and volunteer reporters. KLCC is a charter member of NPR, supplementing NPR programming with local news, regional news and public affairs, on programs such as the Northwest Passage.

The Award Ceremony took place at Gerlinger Hall on the UO campus, April 16, 2011.
