Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders is in Springfield right now, holding a rally at Island Park.
On the way, Sanders stopped at The Glenwood on the University of Oregon campus.
KLCC's Rachael Mcdonald is in Springfield, at the rally.
MCDONALD: "There are people chanting 'Feel the Bern!,' which you might be able to hear. And the feeling is really positive, people seem to be really excited and happy. The campaign has just said he'll be talking about things like wage inequality, free tuition for public universities and colleges. And, it will be interesting to see if he talks specifically about Oregon and Lane County, Eugene/Springfield."
