Egan Warming Center Opens Doors To The Homeless

Egan Warming Center Facebook Page

Cold temperatures brings the call for volunteers to help staff shifts at Egan Warming Center locations in the Eugene/Springfield area. With overnight temps dropping to about 28 degrees, the centers are being activated tonight and Tuesday night. They remain on standby for Wednesday through Friday, Dec. 6-8.

All trained volunteers can sign up for a shift and organizers say more volunteers are needed for the early morning and overnight shifts in particular.
