Eugene Police Say Cheryl Hart's Body Has Been Found

Eugene Police believe a body found in rural Klamath County is that of Cheryl Hart. The St. Helens woman was last seen August 4th.

Her boyfriend Jeremy Milutin will be charged in the case. He is being held at the Lane County Jail. At a briefing Monday, EPD Detective Jed McGuire said they believe Hart was killed in Eugene. A medical examiner will provide official confirmation of the identity of the remains and cause of death. Detective McGuire said its clear Cheryl Hart was loved by many people. Her body was found by a volunteer search party. Hart was 35. She had three children ages 10, 16 and 18 years old. The case has been referred to the Lane County District Attorney’s office for prosecution. The investigation is still ongoing.
