The Lane County Assessor has a new online tool that lets people search for property sales data across the county. 
Users can search by address, date or price range, school district, or by drawing a line across a search area.
Lane County Assessor Mike Cowles says the data shows property sales and transaction information for the last three years.
“They can actually even export all the sales of one city -- say they wanted to see all the sales in the city of Coburg -- they are able to export those sales to an excel spreadsheet or similar application, to do any type of analysis offline.”
The tool saves people the time and trouble of coming into county offices to rifle through print records. Cowles says such data is requested frequently by realtors, appraisers, and property sellers.
