Sheldon High School was on lockdown for about 45 minutes Thursday afternoon.
Eugene Police say they received a call that a 16-year old male student might be bringing a handgun and Taser onto campus. The call came from the teen’s mother. Police say they responded and found no immediate threat. Police say they did find weapons at the student’s home but that he had not taken them to school.
Police say an investigation is still underway.
