Automakers Need Certain Metals To Build Electric Cars. One Company Is Mining The Oceans To Get Them

As many auto companies develop electric cars, the need for batteries is growing. That will create a huge demand for metals to make the batteries.

Prachi Patel of IEEE Spectrum spoke with one company that wants to mine the deep sea for these metals.
