Ducks Down Beavers In Civil War Game

@oregonfootball Twitter

Oregon came out on top in Saturday’s 123rd Civil War football game, beating Oregon State 24-10.

The No. 14 Ducks wrapped up the regular season with a perfect record at home for the eighth time.

Senior Quarterback and Eugene native Justin Herbert threw for 174 yards and a touchdown in his final game at Autzen Stadium.

Oregon State’s loss meant the Beavers were denied a bid for bowl eligibility in coach Jonathan Smith’s second year. OSU hasn’t made a postseason appearance since 2013.

Oregon will play in the Pac-12 championship game Friday in Santa Clara, Ca. The Ducks will face no. 6 Utah, the Pac-12 South winner.

Oregon State is finished for the season.
