Ducks Face Stanford in Pac-12 Tournament Final

It’s on to the Pac-12 Championship game for Oregon Women’s basketball after their semi-final win over Arizona on Saturday in Las Vegas.

Senior guard Sabrina Ionescu became the tournament’s all-time leading scorer with 31-points in the 88-70 victory. She has now scored 230 points in the Pac-12 Tournament over the course of her career.

Oregon’s Erin Boley had 18 points, and Ruthy Hebard had 14 points with 11 rebounds for her 55th career double-double. Taylor Chavez and Satou Sabally scored nine points each.

The win means the Ducks will head to their third consecutive tournament final where they’ll face Stanford who advanced with their 67-51 win over UCLA on Saturday.

This is also the third year in a row that the final match will feature the Cardinal and the Ducks. In 2018, Oregon prevailed, while Stanford came out on top in last year’s final.

Oregon Men

Oregon Men’s basketball clinched the Pac-12 title with their 80-67 win over Stanford on Saturday. Payton Pritchard led No. 13 Oregon in the final home game of the season. Pritchard scored 29-points while Anthony Mathis added 14. The Ducks finished the season 17-0 at home.

Oregon now heads to the Men’s Pac-12 Tournament in Las Vegas next weekend as the top seed. They’ll face the winner of Wednesday’s Oregon State v. Utah match-up.

Oregon State Men

The final home game for the Beavers saw Tres Tinkle score 24 points in Oregon State’s 74-56 win over California. On Thursday, Tinkle became OSU’s all-time leading scorer. Kylor Kelley finished with a Pac-12 career high 19 points in the Beavers’ victory.

Oregon State is seeded No.8 for the upcoming Pac- 12 Tournament. They face No.9 Utah on Wednesday.
