Eugene Symphony Music Director Francesco Lecce-Chong has been doing his job a little differently since March.
He said that, as a conductor, the first month or two of sheltering in place “looked so desolate for the music world.” But, more than seven months in, his perspective has shifted.
Lecce-Chong is the conductor and music director of the Eugene Symphony. The organization had to cancel its annual summer concert series and is currently reworking plans for its 2020/21 season. Current offerings include Symphony Go and Lecce-Chong’s own Thursday Night Live series.
