A new airline will begin flying out of the Eugene Airport starting Nov. 1. Aha!, owned by ExpressJet, will fly once a day, three times a week to the Reno-Tahoe International Airport in Reno, NV.
Aha! was designed to make traveling from midsized cities to the Reno-Tahoe region easier. For Eugene, that means eliminating connections between the two destinations. The non-stop flight is estimated to take one hour and 25 minutes.
Flights will operate on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, departing Eugene at 12:35 p.m. Flights are expected to arrive in Reno-Tahoe at 2 p.m.
Returning flights will run on a similar schedule operating three times a week on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Flights will depart at 10:25 a.m. from Reno-Tahoe and arrive in Eugene at 11:50 a.m.
For a limited time fares going in both directions will cost $49.
Aha! is expected to launch in two other Oregon cities including Medford on Oct. 31st and in Bend on Nov. 5th.
