Lane Community College was chosen to participate in the inaugural statewide Oregon Pathways Project.
The Pathway program supports local Oregon college students by providing advising and career guidance from enrollment to graduation. Lane officials are hoping it leads to increased completion rates for students.
LCC’s Vice President of Academic and Student Affairs Paul Jarrell says that the project hopes to make college more accessible.
“What it really is a very intentful look at the student life cycle, and making very intentful decisions that focus on access, equity and completion.”
The project will also connect students to industry partners, transfer universities and K-12 schools. Four other community colleges were selected to participate in the project from 2018-2019.
