More than 70 percent of unincorporated residents in Lincoln County voted to renew a levy to retain access to libraries in nearby cities, Tuesday night. The measure is estimated to generate around $ 1,975,083 in property taxes over the next 5 years.

In addition to checking out library materials users have will have access to computers, the internet, and summer reading programs. Unincorporated residents can continue visiting libraries in Lincoln City, Newport, and Toledo without paying for additional fees for library cards.
