March Madness is coming to Eugene. The Oregon Women's Basketball team will host Portland State at Matthew Knight Arena on Friday to open the NCAA Tournament.
After winning the Pac-12 regular season title and reaching the conference tournament final, the Ducks (29-4) received a No. 2 seed for the second year in a row. Oregon was placed in the regional to be hosted by Portland for the Sweet Sixteen and Elite Eight rounds.
In addition to the Oregon- PSU first round game, Matthew Knight Arena will also host a match-up between No. 7 Texas and No. 10 Indiana, with the winner to play the Oregon-PSU winner on Sunday.
The Longhorns and Hoosiers tip off Friday at 4 p.m. Then, 30 minutes later, the Ducks will play the Vikings, who are the Big Sky Conference Tournament champions.
All-session tickets are available now, with single-game tickets on sale Friday. Both games will be televised on ESPN2.
