Northwest Passage: Coronavirus Spurs Ban on Large Gatherings, Universities go Online

Governor Kate Brown bans large public events to prevent the spread of coronavirus. Meanwhile the number of cases of COVID-19 grows in Oregon. 

Schools and universities make adjustments to cope with the outbreak. Meanwhile, the US Census kicks off in Oregon this week at the Warm Springs Reservation. Join KLCC News Director Rachael McDonald, reporters Brian Bull and Elizabeth Gabriel, and Morning Edition host Anni Katz.

Note: As of taping the NCAA had not yet called off its tournament. The announcement came later on Thursday that NCAA decided to cancel its men's and women's basketball tournaments.
