Northwest Passage: EPD Report, Christmas Tree Industry, Low Snowpack, and More

Elizabeth Gabriel, Chris Lehman, Deshutes Natl Forest on Twitter

Eugene Police don’t disproportionately target minorities according to a recent state report. Some Oregon Christmas tree growers are facing tough times. Mountain snowpack is low for this time of year…   And young people will be marching to urge action on climate this week in Eugene and around the world.

We discuss these stories and more in this edition of the Northwest Passage with KLCC All Things Considered host Angela Kellner, reporters Chris Lehman and Elizabeth Gabriel, and News Director Rachael McDonald.

Rachael McDonald is KLCC’s host for All Things Considered on weekday afternoons. She also is the editor of the KLCC Extra, the daily digital newspaper. Rachael has a BA in English from the University of Oregon. She started out in public radio as a newsroom volunteer at KLCC in 2000.
