No. 11 Oregon rallied in the second half to beat Washington State 43-29 on Saturday. The Cougars were up 19-14 at the half, but the Ducks’ offense stepped it up in the third and fourth quarters, while the defense held the Cougars (1-1) to only 10 points in the second half.

Quarterback Tyler Shough went 21-of-30 for 312 yards with four touchdowns and an interception while rushing for 81 yards on nine carries. Travis Dye had two touchdowns: a go-ahead 16-yard touchdown catch in the third quarter, and a 71-yard catch and run in the fourth. DJ Johnson, Johnny Johnson III, and CJ Verdell each scored touchdowns in the victory. Verdell ended the night with 118 yards on 18 carries, while catching five passes for 36 yards.

Oregon's Tyler Shough (12) went 21-of-30 for 312 yards with four touchdowns and an interception while rushing for 81 yards on nine carries in the Ducks' 43-29 win over WSU on Nov.14, 2020 in Pullman, Wash.

The Ducks finished with 581 yards of total offense, throwing for 312 yards and rushing for 269. That’s Oregon’s most in a Pac-12 game since 2017.

With the win, Oregon moved to 2-0 on the season.

Oregon will host UCLA on Saturday, Nov. 21. The game was originally scheduled for Friday night, but was rescheduled after the Pac-12 had to shuffle match-ups and cancel some of this weekend’s games when players from Utah and Arizona State tested positive for COVID-19 last week.
