OSU Announces Suspensions & Closures

Oregon State University

Oregon State University on Wednesday announced measures to reduce the spread of coronavirus.

Beginning this Saturday, OSU will hold winter term final exams remotely. When remote teaching and testing isn't possible, maximum social distancing measures will be utilized.

All non-essential OSU-sponsored travel will be suspended. OSU employees will be encouraged to work remotely. And, travel during spring break should be avoided.

These restrictions will continue when spring term begins on March 30th.

And, until at least April 30th, no non-essential OSU-sponsored events of more than 50 attendees will be permitted.

OSU says it will evaluate the status of these measures every 2 weeks.
