As we head into the weekend, the Southern Willamette Valley can expect a little more snow...at least one or two more dustings over the next week.
Colby Neuman, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Portland, says a stronger storm system is moving in over the weekend, but does not seem to be particularly cold.
“That’s probably the good news is that if it were to snow, the snow probably wouldn’t stick around very long. I mean, it would probably, at least below a thousand feet, probably melt off within a day or two.”
Neuman says the coast range may also experience more snow flurries. Freezing rain is a slight possibility. Neuman suggests watching the forecast and adjust your plans accordingly.
