The Oregon Health Authority announced Tuesday that there is one new case of vaping-related illness in the state.

That brings the total number of cases up to nine. Two of those cases resulted in death.

Gov. Kate Brown used her executive power last week to declare a six-month ban on flavored vaping products.

That ban could start by the end of this week.
