As you may have heard, a very serious bug dubbed the "Heartbleed" bug has been discovered that can put data transmitted over some secure websites at risk.
Rest assured, data transmitted via KLCC/NPR's online form is secure. The hardware used to encrypt data in KLCC/NPR's system does not make use of the OpenSSL libraries that are susceptible to the Heartbleed bug.
NPR has been running tests, and has been in contact with the manufacturer to confirm there are no related vulnerabilities on our system at this time.
