Thursday, University of Oregon quarterback Justin Herbert was selected in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft. Herbert was picked by the Los Angeles Chargers, who selected him sixth overall.

The Arizona State Sun Devils put an end to the Ducks’ 9 game winning streak in Tempe. The 31 – 28 loss was their first in Pac-12 play. Oregon quarterback Justin Herbert threw two interceptions and the Duck defense was without receiver Jaylon Redd, who was out due to an injury.

Oregon’s two Pac-12 teams claimed victories in Week 3 of the 2019 college football season.

University of Oregon scored 11 touchdowns by 11 different players in their 77-6 blowout victory over Nevada Saturday night in Eugene. Oregon scored eight touchdowns on eight consecutive drives in front of a crowd of almost 51,000 at Autzen Stadium.

The No.16 Ducks are now 1-1 for the season. They host Montana (2-0) next Saturday night at Autzen. Game time is 7:45 pm.

Oregon football dropped the first game of the year to Auburn on Saturday night in Dallas with a final score of 27-21.

The No. 11 Ducks held the lead from their first touchdown early in the first quarter, and went into halftime with an 8-point lead. But No. 16 Auburn capitalized on an Oregon scoreless fourth, and took the lead with only 9 seconds left on the clock. A final Hail Mary by Justin Herbert went out of the endzone, giving Auburn the comeback win.

Oklahoma State proved too much for Oregon State in their 2019 football season opener on Friday, falling 52-36 to the Cowboys in Corvallis.
