Another recreational water use advisory has been issued by the Oregon Health Authority, this time for Odell Lake in Klamath County. This is the fourth notice since the start of summer about algal blooms in Oregon water.

Increasing temperatures have led the Oregon Health Authority to notify citizens about cyanobacterial blooms in lakes, reservoirs, and rivers. Exposure to blooms can give people symptoms resembling a stomach flu and can kill smaller animals.
