The University of Oregon hosted a “Get Out the Vote” rally Monday in the final hours of the campaign season.

In anticipation of the upcoming elections, the City Club of Eugene welcomes Oregon Senator Ron Wyden to discuss Election Security, the part that dark money plays, and how we may prevent future elections from being hacked. This was an opportunity to learn more about how future elections can become more secure.

Election officials in Lane County say if you’re still aiming to get your ballot in by the voting deadline, to either seek an official dropbox or to stop by their office.

With Election Day edging closer, state and county officials are making sure Oregonians know where to drop off their ballots…and at what stage their ballots are in the tallying process. KLCC’s Brian Bull reports.

Lane County  officials remind voters this election to only use ballot drop boxes that are open. 

Three groups of Lane County residents are casting ballots in the general election – those in the Springfield and Junction City School Districts and residents in the River Road Park and Recreation District.  Correspondingly, only drop boxes in Junction City, Springfield and at the River Road Park office are open.
