The Oregon Department Of Justice is holding a month-long series of online listening sessions in July to hear from people in marginalized communities.

Police have arrested a man they say recently threatened to kill Muslim worshippers at the Eugene Islamic Center.  As KLCC’s Brian Bull reports, the same man was taken in after allegedly committing other bias crimes at Monroe Park.

The Southern Poverty Law Center says nearly 900 hate incidents -- including those its researchers have tracked against Trump supporters -- have been reported since the election, with 33 in Oregon.  As KLCC’s Brian Bull reports, it’s a high rate given the state population.

Stickers with racist messages were found this week on new light signals installed on Willamette Street in Eugene. And this isn’t the first time hate speech has been spotted in Lane County.
