Governor Kate Brown is responding to today’s news that the U.S. Supreme Court has allowed restrictions on transgender personnel in the military.

A gay and transgender rights group and the ACLU are working to get a lawsuit against the Dallas School District dismissed. At issue is whether transgender students should have access to restrooms and other facilities that match their gender identity.  KLCC’s Brian Bull reports.

A national campaign to support transgender people has made its way to Oregon State University. Some students and faculty are sporting a button with the phrase “I’ll Go With You.” Someone who wears the button is willing to accompany a transgender person into a potentially uncomfortable space.

UO Incorporates Gender Inclusive Bathrooms

The University of Oregon is changing the way it labels some of its bathrooms. Over one hundred restrooms on campus are now considered “gender inclusive.”
