Oregon DMV Computer System Back Up After Issues Halted Knowledge Tests

UPDATE (1:37 p.m. PT) – Oregon DMV officials say their computer system is again allowing them to administer knowledge tests for driver's licenses and permits.

The Oregon Department of Motor Vehicles had been unable to give knowledge tests for driving licenses and permits since Monday morning.

David House with Oregon DMV said the agency experienced network issues last week that affected all of its systems, causing major delays. The issue with the knowledge tests is not related to that.
