The FBI says agents are negotiating with the four remaining militants occupying the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge to get the occupiers to come out peacefully. The occupiers seem willing to go, but say they don't want to face charges.
One of the lingering militants, David Fry says that he and the three others that remain have loaded up their cars and are ready to leave. But they want FBI assurances they won't be arrested.
FRY: We're waiting here, we're ready to go, we've got all our things packed. All we ask is that the police give us safe passage home without having to detain any of us.
The FBI would not comment about potential warrants for arrests for the remaining occupiers.
Officials say that nine people have left the refuge since the FBI established checkpoints at refuge roads. Six of those nine have been arrested.
