Lincoln County is urging people whose homes were damaged by wildfire this month to fill out a damage assessment formonline.

Officials say the Echo Mountain Complex Fire destroyed nearly 300 homes, many in the small town of Otis just east of Lincoln City. The county says filling out the form will bolster efforts to get federal assistance. The damage form can also be filled out by people whose property was damaged by wind.

As of Monday afternoon, all evacuation levels had been removed in Lincoln County, meaning residents are permitted to return to the area. Officials say utility outages could occur as crews work to repair and restore services.
