The Oregon State Women's Basketball squad is playing in the Final Four for the first time. The Beavers defeated Baylor 60 to 57 Monday night.

In the final seconds of the game, Junior guard Sydney Wiese hit three 3-pointers to give the number 2-seeded Beavs the win. The eighth consecutive win for OSU snapped Baylor's 23-game winning streak. Senior Guard Jamie Weisner describes the season as a journey years in the making.

Weisner: "We've broken barriers and, I'm just so proud to be a part of this team. We've gone through it all; especially the senior group and I wouldn't want to be here with anybody else."

The Beavers face undefeated UConn in the next round. The last time the Huskies lost was in 2014 to Stanford.

The University of Oregon Women's basketball team is faring well in the Women's National Invitational Tournament. The Ducks defeated UTEP, 71-67, on Monday night. They face South Dakota this Wednesday.
