Ducks Head To Elite Eight In Women's NCAA Tournament

The University of Oregon women’s basketball team is in the NCAA Tournament’s Elite Eight for the second straight year. The No. 2 seeded Ducks earned their spot after defeating No. 11 seed Central Michigan 83-69 on Saturday in Spokane.

Oregon’s Ruthy Hebard had 23 points, 14 rebounds, and a career high six blocks. Sabrina Ionescu just missed another triple-double with 16 points, 10 assists, and nine rebounds.

The Ducks face No. 1 seed Notre Dame in the Spokane Region final on Monday evening at 6:00 PM. A win will send them to the Final Four in Columbus, Ohio.
