Beavers Win In Overtime To Move To Round Two Of NCAA Tournament

The Oregon State Women’s Basketball team advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament on Saturday with an overtime win against Boise State. The No. 4 Beavers outlasted the No. 13 Broncos with a final score of 80 – 75 in the Albany Regional in Corvallis.

Oregon State had an 8-point lead at the half, but struggled in the 4th quarter. With the score tied at 66, the game headed to overtime where the Beavers held on to the lead to take the win.

Oregon State’s Mikayla Pivec and Aleah Goodman each had 20 points in the victory.

The Beavers will face Gonzaga on Monday in Corvallis. A win will send them to the Sweet Sixteen in Portland.
