NCAA Tournament: Beavers Head To Round 2 After Upset Win Over Tennessee

No. 12-seed Oregon State is moving on to Round 2 of the NCAA Tournament after their 70-56 upset win over 5-seed Tennessee on Friday in Indianapolis.

The Beavers were 47% on three-point attempts, sinking 10/21 long shots. Roman Silva had a career-high 16 points in the win. Jarod Lucas added 14 and Ethan Thompson had 13 points and 10 rebounds. 

The Beavers earned their entry to the 2021 NCAA Tournament after winning the 2021 Pac-12 Tournament.

Friday’s victory was Oregon State’s first win in the NCAA Tournament since 1982.
