Sweet Ghosts Live at KLCC

Sweet Ghosts is a band led by Katherine Byrnes and Ryan Alfred, with beautiful harmonies and atmospheric textures merged with acoustic roots, on their deubt CD Certain Truths. Ryan Alfred is best known for his work as the bassist in Calexico, and Katherine Byrnes has sung in Amos Lee’s touring band, as well as leading the University of Arizona’s big band, and maintaining her own solo career. Before appearing at Sam Bond's Garage in Eugene on Wednesday, August 6th, they performed in the KLCC studios in trio form, joined by Colin Shook on the bass.
