Fingerstyle guitarists Brooks Robertson and John Standefer have been blending their individual styles to create a sonic partnership since meeting in Nashville a few years back. 2014 found them releasing their first album together as a duo, We Came to Play, which was named the top album of the year from the National Thumbpickers Hall of Fame. Before returning to Eugene for a show at Cozmic on Saturday evening, January 3rd, they joiined us live in the KLCC studios to celebrate the new year.
