In Memory of Jeff Eaton, Executive Director of the Oregon Mozart Players

The Willamette Valley’s musical community lost one of its most dedicated souls, when Jeff Eaton passed away from cancer in late January. He had three tenures with the Oregon Mozart Players, including two as executive director and one as general manager. As a cellist, he performed with the Eugene Symphony, the Eugene Opera and the Oregon Bach Festival, among others. A public memorial and musical celebration of life will be held at First Christian Church in Eugene on Saturday, February 28^th.  Sharon Schuman from Chamber Music Amici, who is coordinating that music, speaks with Eric Alan about Jeff's life and legacy.
