Ensemble Mik Nawooj: A Hip-hop Orchestra

Ensemble Mik Nawooj is a hip-hop orchestra that includes acoustic strings and woodwinds, 2 MCs, funk drums and a lyric soprano, all led by Korean-born composer and pianist JooWan Kim. They’ll bring their unique music to Axe and Fiddle in Cottage Grove on Friday, September 4^th.  JooWan Kim speaks with Eric Alan, in an interview that includes some of the ensemble's groundbreaking music.
