Dar Williams returns to our listening region with a concert tonight, October 20th, at the Jaqua Concert Hall of the Shedd Institute in Eugene. She’s touring behind her new release, Emerald—her first independent release after a long tenure with Razor and Tie Records. She’s also been busy with other creative and social projects, writing and teaching on subjects as diverse as what allows towns to prosper, music movements in a capitalist democracy, and of course, songwriting. She visited the KLCC studios for songs and conversation.
