Elizabeth Rowe, Native Eugene Flutist, Returns Home

  Eugene native Elizabeth Rowe has gone on to national prominence as a flutist, including her current role with the Boston Symphony Orchestra, where she holds the Walter Piston Principal Flute Chair. She has also held key positions within the orchestras of Baltimore, Washington DC and Fort Wayne, and currently teaches at both the New England Conservatory and the Tanglewood Music Center. She’s returned to her hometown for a week-long residency that includes performances at Beall Hall on Wednesday, November 4th, and with the Oregon Mozart Players on Saturday, November 7th. She’s speaks with Eric Alan in the KLCC studios.
