Jake Shimabukuro has become the world’s foremost ukulele player, taking the instrument into a wild range of musical realms beyond its Hawaiian origins. His most recent CD, Nashville Sessions, is an electric trio release with bassist Nolan Verner and percussionist Evan Hutchings. He returns to Eugene for a performance at the Jacqua Concert Hall of the Shedd Institute tonight, March 3^rd, and he’s here live in the KLCC studios.
