Legendary Soprano Renee Fleming Returns to Eugene

Soprano Renee Fleming is one of music’s most accomplished vocalists, with her accolades including multiple Grammy Awards and the National Medal of Arts, bestowed upon her by President Obama. She performs with the Eugene Symphony on Tuesday, September 19th, opening the symphony’s first season with conductor Francesco Lecce-Chong. Renee Fleming talks with KLCC’s Eric Alan about the evening’s music, and her other current projects: the film Bel Canto, the Broadway revival of Carousel, and exploring the link between music and health.
