Live Wire Radio started in 2003 and each week provides an hour of variety with writers, musicians, comedians, and artists of all types.

Luke Burbank hosts the show, which in non-pandemic times, is recorded live at the Alberta Rose Theater in Portland. It’s carried on over 200 stations nationwide, and was added to KLCC’s program lineup one year ago.

To commemorate the 1-year anniversary of Live Wire Radio on KLCC, KLCC's Love Cross sat down with Live Wire announcer and sidekick, Elena Passarello, who joined us from her home in Corvallis.

You can hear Live Wire Saturdays at 11 a.m. on KLCC.
