An event celebrating the arts and wineries is returning to Eugene for its 37th year.

Art and the Vineyard will be held in Alton Baker Park during the second weekend of September, hosted by the Maude Kerns Art Center.

It was originally planned for the 4th of July weekend but was rescheduled due to COVID, said Michael Fisher, the executive director for the Maude Kerns Art Center.

“We really wanted to have the opportunity for a great big event where people could come out and really enjoy, and then be able to experience it in person,” Fisher said.

The festival will have an artist’s marketplace featuring local and regional artists, a wine court, an international food court, and other activities. Featured bands include Candy Apple Blue, the Pop Rocks, and the Satin Love Orchestra.

Vaccinations are not required, but COVID safety recommendations include hand sanitizer, and masks for unvaccinated attendees.

Proceeds from Art and the Vineyard will fund art exhibitions and classes for all ages. More information can be found on their website.
