Someone's Slashing Tires In SE Eugene

Eugene Police are seeking the public’s help in finding those responsible for more than a dozen recent incidents of tire-slashing.

Local residents in the 4600 block of Hillside Drive, West Amazon and University areas have reported seventeen tire-slashing incidents. Investigators believe they occurred between 1 a.m. and 3 a.m. since February 21st. Several victims say they heard loud music during those hours. One report describes a beige sedan stopping on the street before a person hopped out of the car and appeared to tamper with a parked vehicle before driving off. That person is described to have medium build and long hair. Police ask for anyone with tips or surveillance photos or video to call 541-682-5111
