Area Open Air Markets Cancel Because Of Smoke

Saturday Market

Due to poor air quality the Eugene Saturday Market and Lane County Farmers Market have canceled their events for this Saturday, Sept. 12 in downtown Eugene. This decision was made to protect the safety of vendors, staff and community members.

Several vendors for the farmers market are in the evacuation zones and even more have been unable to harvest their crops this week due to the wildfires and smoke.

Corvallis-Albany Farmers’ Market has also made the decision to close Saturday, Sept. 12 due to forecasted air quality.
