Oregon Approved for Emergency Declaration, Federal Aid Due to Wildfires

On Thursday, Congressman Peter DeFazio announced President Trump approved Oregon's request for an Emergency Declaration, which will help bring federal aid to community members recovering from wildfires.

This declaration includes assistance for temporary housing for displaced evacuees, as well as additional firefighting resources.
