Eugene area techies are invited to put their skills to work for the greater good this weekend.

Hack for a Cause is the brainchild of Technology Association of Oregon, the City of Eugene and others. KLCC’s Rachael McDonald spoke with organizer Joshua Purvis.

The hackathon starts Friday evening at 5 and continues through Sunday at the Downtown Athletic Club in Eugene. Registration is open up until the beginning of the event.
